Marco Tirelli, Palazzo Comunale di Todi, 2017
For the Sala delle Pietre of the Palazzo Comunale di Todi, Marco Tirelli has created an installation composed of ten extremely large canvases, in direct relation with the architectural space. In the relation with his poetry, where lights and shadows create spaces, these works propose the observer’s eye the enigma of the visible.
If in the world we only see what light gives us back, how much does painting have to do with reality?
Marco Tirelli is, together with Robin Heidi Kennedy, the author of the official Todi Festival 2017 poster.
